    I’ve been noticing a common element in most stories, the main character seems to always have a hidden transformation, Ang-the avatar state, Goku-super saiyan,Ichigo-hollow Ichigo,naruto-nine tailed fox.

    Does superman have a hidden transformation aswell?

    Clark - Superman maybe?
    Sounds like those are mostly Manga or Anime characters with the hiddden tranformation.
     
    I wish freeze breath was a hidden power though. Well hidden. Never liked it.

    i think the problem with freeze breath is that he rarely uses it in fights and when he does they usually punch right out of it, i know there have been but i cant think of a single villain he has beat with freeze breathe

    He doesn't have any hidden powers... not anymore at least. Back in the Silver Age, he'd pull out all sorts of hidden powers that he would use once and never again.

    No hidden powers that I know of. He does have a counterpart to the Avatar state, Super saiyan, etc... The sundip.. :D Also the blue star thingie...

    Silver Age Superman had a lot of hidden powers though. :P

    @ssejllenrad: Thank you somebody gets it.This not about hidden powers this about a hidden transformation that causes a sudden increase in power,from the looks of it there are none,but i guess sundip and the blue star power up works for me,even though i already  knew about them.

    Superman is a the epitome of the western hero, those 'super' states are common amongst eastern heroes but not your typical western hero. He's always super...just holding back I guess.

    The rainbows were the precursor to the midget Superman he would shoot from his fingers. I'm not even kidding, either. The rainbows would shoot from his fingers followed by a tiny Superman that would do his bidding. Unfortunately, while Superman had this power he didn't have any of his other super abilities since they all went to the midget, so Supes got really depressed because people didn't need him anymore so much as they needed the little man that would shoot from his fingers. And then a solution presented itself:

    I would consider the Power increase around a blue star a "hidden transformation" after all Blue Stars are very rare in the universe compared to red, and yellow stars. the blue stars give superman a increase in all of his powers and alos gives him supervision that allows him to bistow his powers to others.
