This capability thread is for this version of the character which was introduced for the first time in the 2011.
I will try to put all the relevant feats since now in separate sections without violating the rules of this site. For each category the feats will be numered: i will put them in order of magnitude,so the most impressive feat will have the number 1,the second one will have the number 2,..ecc..Of course with the time more feats will come and some of them will be more impressive than the ones i've already put in this thread,so instead of renumbering them all i will simply add another number to them,just to make an example: we have the feat number 2 and the feat number 3 but if i think the new one should be put in the middle it will be the feat number 2.1 of its section. Of course in some cases,especially for the lesser feats, this classification can be purely subjective and i use it just to give this thread a semblance of order. Ok,i will stop being Captain Obvius just right now. Hopefully this thread will get some new people interested with the character and it may be usefull once it is completed for the battle forums...though i haven't done it for that,i like a good respect thread myself and i think they are really helpful if someone just wants to have a good idea of who a character is and see what he/she can do or can not do.
However...lets go.
STRENGTH
1 - These images come from two different comics,i have used the first one to better show the size of the ship. The Braniac’s mothership is many times bigger than earth and it was falling towards our planet at 36.000 miles per hour but Superman and Martian Manhunter could overcome that momentum and successfully pushed back this huge ship.
2-Superman tested his powers into Dr. Veritas's lab which is situated into the core of our planet where he could lift for 5 days straight the equivalent weight of the earth thanks to a graviton matrix without being exposed to the sun’s light and without even reaching the true limits of his strength. Shay Veritas wanted to go even further by opening a pandimensional whormhole in order test his real power but they both agreed that this method was too dangerous since it could suck the whole planet.
3 - Immediately after being beaten up by Batman with a chunk of Kryptonite,Superman could easily change the trajectory of Warworld which was going to crash toward earth:he pushed it into the arctic where it could be teleported away into the phantom zone.
3.1 - Supes is restrained inside the Rao's cathedral. Rao himself who is a kryptonian amped up by billions upon billions of lives, stated that even he is unsure if he could break free from such restraints. However Superman rather than attempting to break free just with brute strength alone he pushes against the restraints and flies the cathedral out of the planet, crashing and destroying it on the moon in few moments,before Rao could stop him.
3.2 - Superman could overpower multiple kryptonians despite the fact they had absorbed enough sunlight to be nearly as strong as he was
4 - Superman was still weakened by red sun radiations but he could easily lift and push into space the Sunturian’s ship that was big enough to be disguised as a part of Metropolis.
5 - After an intense battle Superman managed to tear Doomsday in two with his bare hands.
6 - A young Superman (before the JL was formed) could break the Hal Jordan's constructs.
7 - When Superman was so young he couldn't even fly he was able to move a cargo ship with a thunderclap.
8 - Stopping the JL's satellite from crashing into the ground.
9 - Superman quickly hitting Wraith with a huge ship.
10 - Superman and Wonder Woman caught an aicraft carrier and used it as a shield against the ocean.
11 - After being wounded and weakened by red sun bullets he pushed one of those huge robots into the bay.
12 - Superman threw one of those gigantic drones towards the other while they were blasting him with high frequencies sounds.
13 - Superman lifts a submarine with ease.
14 - Superman easily lifts an hundred foot long dragon (his real name is Baka) an throws it far away with just one arm. Later he could still lift it despite he had a knife planted into his chest.
15 - Superman was weakened by green,blue and red Kryptonite but he could still push that Superdoom's statue behind the moon in few seconds.
16 - Superman holding a bridge. This is relevant since it shows how Clark has to dose his strength when he performs such a feat.
17 - Superman throwing the Daily Planet's globe.
18 - A young Superman stopping a train.
19 - This happened during the Forever Evil story arc : Superman was slowly dying since he had a microscopic fragemt of kryptonite into his brain but he could still put up a fight.
20 - Superman blocks Hephaestus's assault.
21 - Clark catches a falling crane with one arm and simultaneously saves a guy.
22 - Uses a truck as a baseball bat.
23 - These feats aren't impressive by any means but they show us a little difference between pre-52 and new-52 Superman: in the previous continuity Clark has developed his powers during the puberty but now he has possesed them since he was an infant.These images come from two different comics.

STRIKING FORCE
1 - This feat is related with the feat number two of the strength category. Dr. Veritas ,after 5 days of tests, could determine Superman's power level just to discover that he can go beyond it in a battle scenario: against H'el Superman used punches so strong that they could topple entire mountains and their shockwaves could be felt from the earth's core to the farthest edges of the atmosphere.
2 - Superman with two broken ribs could quickly punch Wraith (a being who was stronger and faster than him) to the moon and through the moon with a series of precise strikes.
3 - Superman could knock out with a signle strike the main head of a gigantic Kryptonian dragon.
4 - A young Superman could easily one shot Hal Jordan. In the last two panels he is shattering another of his constructs.
5 - The shockwave from the Superman's punch stopped the conlfict between the Justice League and the Justice league of America.
6 - Orion is stating that no one has ever punched him as hard as Superman in his lifetime. (I don't know if this statement can be taken seriously,still it could probably be one of the most powerful punches he has ever taken and at this point of the battle Superman was holding back so this is still a considerable feat.)
7 - Superman could briefely stun H'el who is a being much more powerful than him.
8 - Superman could destroy a robot clone of himself which was able to defeat Supergirl with ease.
9 - Punching Lobo into orbit
10 - Punching Mongul 200 miles away while he is holding back.
11 - Stopping Captain Marvel's assault.
12 - Punching the cyborg Batman causing a considerable shockwave plus colliding with him always creating a big sonic boom.
13 - Three different examples of Superman creating a shockwave with his hits. In the last panel he has caused a little tsunami by punching Mongul.
14 - Easily one-shotting Gorilla Grodd while resisting to his tp.
15 - Superman was stabbed with an intangible knife (it has crossed him from side to side) but he had still enough strength to cause a huge crack in the ground with a powerful strike./ A severely weakened Superman could escape with few hits from a cell that was designed for him./An half dead Superman could destroy the ground around him with a single strike./ Superman ,despite being by weakened by an alien virus,could easily open a crack in the ground 20 meters deep.
16 - Punching a hole into Omac./ Flying through the Ligthouse,one of the biggest (it has the size of a cityblock) and toughest space stations ever built./ Destroying some asteroids with ease./ Destroying Helspon's base in a single blow that could topple the mountain in which it was situated.
17 - Punching H'el in a precise point where he couldn't cause any damage to the people.
18 - One shotting Lex Luthor.
19 - Super flicks! Just take a look.

DURABILITY
1 - These images come from 2 different comics.Surviving and escaping from a black hole plus travelling for two months non-stop into deep space.
2 - Superman tries to escape from an exploding planet with Ulysses but he gets caught in the blast and he is hit by some asteroids but after that he is still conscious.
3 - He takes no damage by being hit by a nuke when he was inside a nuclear power plant.
4 - He intercepts an energy blast which was going to obliterate Metropolis and takes no damage.
5 - H'el punches Superman(who remains conscious and undamaged) from the earth into the cislunar orbit making him slam into the Oracle's hand.
6 - These images come from 3 different comics. Techcnically the whole fight against Doomsday is a feat: the monster had an energy field which could destroy,burn and poison everything around him and Superman was told to be the only being in the planet who could last more than 10 minutes in a fight against it.Then Superman could take many hits from the beast which was strong enough to broke both of Wonder Woman's arms with one punch when he was in a weaker form.
7 - Wraith throws Superman from the Gobi Desert to Anapurna (a part of The Himalayas mountains) in Nepal, a distance of approximately 2,670 km/1,659 miles, delivering a multi mountain busting attack on Superman and the extent of Superman's injuries result in two broken ribs.
8 - Superman takes a strike from a huge kryptonian dragon which sends him from Metropolis to Ireland.
9 - Wraith kicks Superman across the whole state and the impact brought an entire mountain down on Superman but he takes no damage.
10 - These images comes from 2 different comics. Here Superman is taking different powerful blasts from Helspont.
11 - This is just part of the fight in which Superman could take many punches from Supergirl (while he was trying to talk to her) without being harmed.Supergirl could also sucker punch Superman,when he was helping her to get up, all the way across the Great Wall of China but she still couldn't cause any damage to him.
12 - Being blasted by 3 red lanterns.
13 - Survives from being blasted with a magical and powerful energy beam./ Taking a blast from Superdoom after being weakened by three different types of Kryptonite.
14 - Superman powers were fading but he could still survive and fight inside the Krypton's core which had an extreme temperature and an immense pressure: its gravitational pull was so strong that was almost impossible to leave the planet despite the incredible tech the Kryptonians possessed.
15 - Casually forging in the sun./ Taking a blast from Starfire and saying that he has been inside of a star more than once.
16 - Here he takes without even a scratch a blast from a powerful alien weapon which could crack a whole continent if used at full strength.
17 - Superman takes a hit from a weapon that was powerful enough to crack in two a spaceship almost as big as the moon.
18 - Superman was blasted by some black-hole lasers and he could recover pretty quickly.
19 - Superman intercepted Powergirl's hv which could easily cut through a mountain.
20 - Being blasted from an alien spaceship./ Taking 10 gigawatts of electricity when he was younger.
21 - Zod saying that Superman and Diana are hard to kill even if they are unconscious./ Surviving to being exposed to lethal gasses at a younger age./Saying that he has an invulnerable brain tissue./Saying to Captain Comet that his telekinesis can't affect his super-cellular structure.

TRAVEL SPEED
1 - Superman could escape from a black hole and fly from the end of the end universe to earth in two months.These images come from 3 different comics.
2 - Superman could fly from Pluto to earth and find Red Hood and his teammates in a minute despite they were shielded by a cloacking program. Such a feat should require him to fly about at 320 times faster than light.
3 - Taking Doomsday to Venus in a matter of moments while taking his hits.
4 - Different examples taken from different comics of Superman flying (and in some cases even returning) to the Sun in a matter of moments.
5 - A younger Superman flying to Mars in few instants.
6 - He was caught in an huge explosion but could outrun the blast and save all the members of the Pax Galactica.
7 - Three different examples of Superman flying aound the whole globe at super-speed.
8 - Flying from a zone outside Metropolis to Prescot,solving an hostage situation and returning in few seconds.
9 - Taking by force a robotic clone of himself (it was so strong it could defeat Supergirl) to the arctic in no time.
10 - Stopping Supergirl from reaching Krypton.
11 - Easy keeping up with a weakened Flash who was still so fast he could circle the entire globe six times at hypersonic speeds.
12 - Superman can fly hundred times faster than any vehicle built by man.
13 - A young Clark running so fast (over 25.000 miles per hour) he could jump into space.
14 - A young Superman easily outrunning a barrage of speeding bullets.
15 - Flying so fast that Psyco Pirate couldn't react in time. The Psycho Pirate at the time was one of the most powerful ,if not the most powerful telepath of the world.

REACTION TIME and COMBAT SPEED
1 - Superman was caught by surprise but he could react fast enough to outrun and stop a laser beam with one hand after it was fired,before it could reach the target./Blocking the Batman's lasers multiple times.
2 - Outrunning and intercepting an energy blast after it was fired.
3 - Saving the members of the Pax Galactica by blocking a huge magical energy blast.
4 - Superman could evade for some time the Omega Beams which were so fast that Barry Allen could barely escape them.
5 - Mongul tried to blast Hiro (the Toymaster),but before the blast could connect Superman could analize and solve the whole situation in a microsecond.
6 - Superman is moving faster than the lightning in two occasions.
7 - Superman could almost catch a massively hypersonic projectile which changed direction in the last moment.(The projectile was a Kandorian).
8 - Tagging the Flash.
9 - Fighting (and winning) against an alien who possesed enough speed to be comparable with the Flash.
10 - Intercepting many powerful fire blasts by moving with a speed that would rival lightning.
11 - An extremely weakened and almost powerless Superman could shield Diana at super-speed with his cape during a nuclear blast.
12 - Analizing an alien gun at super-speed and shielding a guy from a surprise attack of Starfire.
13 - The auto-destruction device of the Ascension's base was activated but Clark could shield Lois before the burst.
14 - A weakened Superman could outrun the explosion and save Lois's boyfriend.
15 - Easily catching many bullets./Two examples of a young Superman catching and deflecting some bullets with ease.
16 - Destroying many high tech missiles.
17 - Superman can think and act fast enough to take the Psycho Pirate by surprise. /Blasting the Hive Queen before she could react. (She is an extremely powerful telepath too)
18 - At this point of the fight Superman was still holding back but he could quickly punch Orion deep underground.
19 - A weakened Superman could create a tunnel at super-spped while carrying a powerful alien being with him.
20 - Two different examples of Superman using his speed in a fight.
