@tifalockhart: if take what Lvenger has said about Clark's moral compass as a definite, he would consider it killing an animal. But I don't think he's that strict he's still a farm boy at heart. Plus if he thought but if he thought it was bad why not put a stop to it.

I was going to say I didn't like it because it makes him less human but I wasn't sure if people would be like "well because he's kryptonian DUH" but him being less relatable is definitely a better way of putting it.

Well I do remember seeing him eating hamburgers and other meat based foods in comics, especially the New 52. It varies though and Birthright really did a great job explaining why Superman could be a vegetarian.
