I usually don't like Superman live action adaptation, I think the classic costume is too silly for the big screen. What about the "Godfall" Superman design? would you like to see a Superman like this one in a movie?
Superman
Character » Superman appears in 18939 issues.
Sent to Earth as an infant from the dying planet Krypton, Kal-El was adopted by the loving Kent family and raised in America's heartland as Clark Kent. Using his immense solar-fueled powers, he became Superman to defend mankind against all manner of threats while championing truth, justice, and the American way!
Godfall Superman costume: the best option in live action?
Simple answer:no In 2016 it would look hilariously bad maybe 15 years ago. Maybe as some kind of alternate universe Superman or something.
something akin to this would be my ideal live action Superman costume, it actually looks like Superman but at the same time is a little more pleather and less shiny spandex looking. I don't think Superman's costume really needs to be updated for the live-action it just needs to be a little less shiny
I think the Rebirth costume would translate fine to the big screen. MoS/BvS Superman costume wasn't bad either. Godfall Superman sucks, so no.
- A live action Superman in a suit that screams tyrannical overlord?...No thank you.
- People already think Superman is some kind of distant, stoic power mad god King becuase of Synder who obviously confused Doctor Manhattan for Superman.
- Superman should be wearing a very welcoming suit, and nothing says welcome like red and blue.

Lol that looks edgy silly.
I would love to see Superman wearing this suit all the time. Like his default costume. Even the color setting feels more right.
The red, obviously representing the red sun of Krypton.
The black representing in a way the isolation and unknown that came with being a kryptonian. After all what's one of Superman greatest complaints, if not how much he doesn't know about himself. Why he has those powers, why they work the way they do. There's so much Superman doesn't know about himself, about his past, about his inheritance.
And of course the white. The white lines representing that there's always hope. Hope that things will become clearer. Hope that what is unknown will become known. Hope that he'll live up not only to his full potential as a member of the kryptonian race, but also as a member of human society.
People may say that red, blue and yellow are iconic, and they are iconic. But just because something is iconic, it doesn't mean that something else can't be just as iconic. Sometimes people seem to forget that before the most known suit of Superman became iconic, it wasn't iconic. It took years to become that, and it will take years giving a new chance to a new set of colors for them to become iconic. The suit itself feels Man Of Tomorrow, while the old suit with trunks on the outside screamed Man Of The Past.
