I know especially when Connor is the "son" of both Superman/Clark Kent/Kal El and Lex Luthor.

    Oh what sweet irony.

He treats him like a brother because genetically, that is what he is. An exact genetic duplicate = more of a twin brother than a son.

Terry Mcgennis was a genetic duplicate of Bruce Wayne and he gets a pass as a son.

he's not an exact genetic duplicate....his dna is a combination of Clark's and Lex's dna...if you wanted to put a label on it he's more like a son of Lex and Clark

Um, no he's not? Only half his DNA comes from Superman, the other half comes from Lex Luthor. Thus, not an exact genetic duplicate.

Technically, is he even a clone? A clone is produced from one organism to which they are genetically identical, so how does that work in the context of Superboy, Superman, and Lex Luthor?

It seems to me he's more like Superman's and Lex's test tube baby.

Neither are genetic duplicates. To put in some way Bruce and terry mother are his parents. The parents of Connor are Lex and Superman (he wasnt born from a mother like terry was).

So who's the surrogate "mother" between Lex and Clark Kent of Connor?

Terry's dad was given Bruce's DNA he was made by boing boing

Superboy in a lab, I prefer him as a brother to Superman.

Cause the idea of Superman and Lex being parents to the same offspring is weird..

Well in the Wonderful World of Comics,

    EVERYTHING MAKE SENSE.

Especially Connor being the "offspring" of Lex and Superman.

As it was put in Smallville -

Lois: Are you trying to tell me Connor is the genetic love-child of Clark Kent and Lex Luthor?

Clark: You don't have to say it like that.
