Superman
Character » Superman appears in 18886 issues.
Sent to Earth as an infant from the dying planet Krypton, Kal-El was adopted by the loving Kent family and raised in America's heartland as Clark Kent. Using his immense solar-fueled powers, he became Superman to defend mankind against all manner of threats while championing truth, justice, and the American way!
Best Superman theme?
All three are good, but William's score always makes me feel like I could take the Earth off it's axis if I ever wanted to.
I'm going to be the outlier here.
John Williams is definitely the most iconic, but if you're asking which I think is best it's a tie between "What Are You Going To Do When You're Not Saving The World" and "Flight" by Hans Zimmer.

Agree

I like Zimmer's the best. I feel like it captures Superman's legendary status on an incredible, primal level. Williams' is more famous, obviously, but I think it's time for a change. The TAS was incredible to the point of being underrated, though...
The one that is literally called the Superman theme.

I agree.
I like both the movie versions, but giving it to the classic... Hard choice!
The MOS version feels like it was meant to capture the essance of Clark's legendary journey to becoming Superman: Epic, impossible, righteous, and elevating.
But the original is more in line with the original concept of Superman himself: Sensational, incumbent , Uplifting, and inspirational.
Both songs are great, but seem to have different purposes, one is about becoming Superman, the other is about being Superman.
At least that's how I see it.
