In the prequel to the New Powers storyline, Superman is manifesting bizarre new abilities! An emissary from Kandor arrives and causes chaos throughout Metropolis and Superman must stop him. But how can Superman hide the fact that his new powers are uncontrollable, especially when a publicity-seeking Jimmy Olsen is ready to spill the beans on "The Whitty Banter Show"?

Superman takes an day off because of his lack of controling his new electrical magnetic powers he just got. While dealing with that, an creature shows up and goes wild. When Supe gets the call about the monster, He flies there right away. When he gets there, he and the creature battle all of Metropolis. Then Supermans new powers cause an blackout in the city.

Lois Lane wants Clark to stay home from work because he gets these new eletrical/magnetic powers.  While that happens, some ram/goat creature goes beserk in the beloved city of Metropolis.  And when Kent finds out about the creature is on an rampage threw the city, Superman goes after the creature and they have an fight all over the city.  This fight kind of lasted long until all an sudden, Superman with his new powers blackouts the whole city of Metropolis.  Now I find it kinda wierd that Super...
