Lori Lemaris discovers ancient Incan treasure in the depths of a sunken ship, but when a red-gemmed necklace catches her eye, she sets into motion events that lead to Metropolis being sunk.

An early adventure of Superman from art sensation Koi Turnbull (Black Panther, Fathom) and the writing team of Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray! The fate of Metropolis is at stake when Superman gets mixed up with Lori Lemaris!

Lori Lemaris is exploring a sunken ship,The Estrella(The Star),off the coast of Palmyra Island when she stumbles upon some ancient Inca treasure and takes a neclace with an odd red stone. She wears it and instantly becomes posessed with an unknown entity that was concealed in the stone, a curse that had been placed upon it since Ancient times. Three weeks later Metropolis is underwater and the citizens have been transformed into Merfolk. With Lori being posessed, Superman at her will, and Lois imprisoned in Stryker's Island, will Metropolis and it's citizens ever return to normal?
