Solid As A Submarine 0

So that cover is DRASTICALLY different from the original solicit, and while the overall design is pretty lackluster, this is one of the RARE cases where added text actually makes the cover BETTER. Initially I saw the design and I was like, uh? Then I read the caption and I was intrigued.I still wish Dan Jurgens was on full art duties instead of Jesus Merino doing the finishes, but it looks a bit better this time around. It looks more like the Dan Jurgens I know. But really, Norm Rapmund on inks ...

THE GOOD: I think that art looks okay in this issue Dan Durgens in doing it with some finishes by Jesus Merino. I really like the panels that take place under the water. I think that the bubbles around him are really cool. I also like the amount of details that they add to the city in the backgrounds. The story has been done before, but this feels a little original. We get to see Superman save a Russian sub. Then we get to see a blogger trying to tell Lois Lane that Superman has a secret identit...

TAKE THAT NEW 52 BATMAN! 0

My god do I love the New 52 Superman! Even though I think the New 52 Batman comics are decent they could learn a thing or three from the New 52 Superman comics, make the story more interesting, make them more action packed and make it feel more true to the character are some things that New 52 Superman does that New 52 Batman does not. Anyway on to the issue its cool! Nice art, an interesting story, decent action, and a great cliffhanger ending! Yeah how often do you see a good cliffhanger endin...
