    "My Turn"

    THE GOOD:
Dan Jurgens does much better work without Perez. I think that the last two issues have been amazing. I love the sketchy feeling of the art but there is still well defined lines. The backgrounds are amazing as well. When you look you see buildings different shapes everywhere. The story is really good in this issue. We see Superman sorta seeing a possible future. It's not too pretty but I think readers can do what Superman does and just say 'not gonna happen'. We get a lot of action in this issue as well. We get to see him fight agents of what I think is S.T.A.R. Labs and Helspont. I really like the whole motive for why Superman is involved. I think it makes a lot of sense. I really love how this is mentioning about every other book on there.

    THE BAD:
I really think the ending was a little lackluster. I wish there would've been a really cool redeeming move, but that didn't happen. I also not sure about the robots of Helspont. Did he just leave them there so they can do everything again? I also think the fact that Superman acknowledges that it's not over and just leaves; is a little dumb.

    THE VERDICT: 4.5/5 (Amazing)
I'm really liking the new creative team on Superman. They balance the action with the huge villains and lots of story in one issue. Something that the other team was not able to do. These issues has a lot happening that it makes up for a little time lost in the issues 1-6. It's really cool to see Superman fighting these villains affecting his home life and I think that makes a great Superman series. Pick #7 up as a starting point and continue from there.

Outsider Doesn't Mean Eradicator In This Case 0

Is it wrong that the issue title made me hope for an appearance from Eradicator? I mean, he WAS one of the four during Reign of the Superman, and he WAS an Outsider during two of their formations... I'm not disappointed by it though, since I wasn't REALLY expecting him to show up. I just secretly hoped for whatever reason.Moving onto things actually IN this issue, Helspont uses a few interesting tactics to recruit Superman WILLINGLY. They don't succeed, but he makes a few more good points than m...

      Action Meets Backstory 0

This is a mostly action-oriented issue. Superman fights in a war of words and strength with Helspot. Helspot during this battle explains why he is on earth. He believes he's offering the world for Superman to run. Superman does what he does best. He explains that he is a beacon of hope. That humanity only needs his watchful eye, not his tyranny. There's a good balance of history of Helspot with epic Superman type action. Clark's explanation for why the human race makes him stronger not weak. It ...
