Half Good
This issue starts out strong, with Parasite impersonating Luthor and taking over his Luthor's criminal organization from within. He then uses Luthor's weaponry against Superman, screwing up Luthor's carefully laid plans. Once again, Luthor is cast in the role of unlikely hero, as he helps save Superman, and Metropolis since he won't stand for anyone else defeating Superman.
Unfortunately, the Luthor / Superman solution to the Parasite problem falls back on the old, pull-something-out-of-our-butts-at-the-last-minute trope, which makes the second half of the story far less good.
But, Curt Swan is one artist whose art continues to evolve alongside the medium, and that plus the fast paced nature of the Bronze Age Superman stories make it worth a read if you like the pre-Crisis Superman.
