    Superman's New Adventures Continue

Superman's new comic book delivers another fascinating issue. I missed reading the first issue but I read the plotline in the Internet. Anyway, in this second issue, Superman fights a mysterious enemy he cannot see or hear. This is interesting and very attractive to new readers. Having an enemy that cannot be traced by Superman's vision or hearing powers is something that doesn't appear in comic books very often. It is only with the intervention of his friends that Superman defeats the creature. Clark Kent's life also has difficulties. His friendship with Lois, although still strong, has become very complicated due to Clark's increasing sense of loneliness. Lois wants to see the good in Clark, but he won't let her get close to him. It's very heartwarming, but kinda tragic. The changes in Metropolis are still felt in the series. A homeless man is pursued by the cops and suddenly, his eyes begin to glow red. He then finds a guy in a coma and his eyes turn red as well. I think this will be villains in future issues. Overall this is a very good issue. I'm not yet familiar with the DCnU, but I will give it a chance. Good reading!

The reason I've always loved Superman is how he soldiers on in the face of whatever challenges him. In the last issue we saw Superman not only take on an alien entirely made from fire, but we saw him witness the destruction of the old Daily Planet building which held great symbolic meaning to him, and we saw him loose the woman he loved to another man. Superman #2 just adds to the challenges that Superman faces. As we've seen from other comics in the New 52 the world doesn't seem to be taking to...

      Superman Saves The Day 0

Superman #1 was an interesting a fun ride that gave us the new things to Metropolis and Superman himself. Superman #2 continues to do that but gives him even more trouble to fight.  THE GOOD: I really like the art. Jesus Merino does a great job at capturing emotion and fight scene. The story is also very simple but has a lot of deep elements the come into play. I really like seeing Lois and Clark talking to each other. Even though they aren't together I feel that they have a connection. I really...
