    The Inferior Spider-Man! 40

SPOILERS! hey There, as you Might Know, Something Happens in issue 9 of superior Spider-man, Something that will change everything, and it does , but is that change good? most definitively Not! What happens in this issue, made me, someone who has from the beginning been Okay with superior, almost vomit. I'll be honest, from the start i haven't been that mad since we all knew that spider-man( peter parker) would eventually return, I made this Very clear from my very first Review, but right now? ...

Superior Spider-man getting worse and worse 5

There are going to be spoilers in this. This comic is complete Crap. Dan Slott is the worse thing since Brand New Day. If Stan Lee got anywhere near Dan Slott he would slap the hell out of him for making any of this. There is a huge plot hole in this that is below this Paragraph that if you are willing to read by all means read it. Do not buy this or any more of this series until they fix this. Do not give your money to this. So Doc Ock Goes into Peter's mind and tries to kill him. Peter Summon...

The Superior Spider-Man? More like the Self Righteous Spider-Man! 51

Usually I try to take the glass half full approach to everything I do in life but I alternate between an optimistic and practical or realistic view. For this issue of Superior Spider-Man, I came in with the glass being empty approach so I wouldn’t be disappointed with how Slott handled this issue. Given that future solicits for Spider-Man still have Superior in the title, it’s not hard to guess that Ock will be sticking around in Peter’s body. But it’s what happens in this issue that easily bea...

cheap ploy to sell comics 0

disappointing. Marvel will be stretching out this horrible plotline for a while longer. probably to coincide with ASM 2. It wreaks of another cash grab, and (in my mind) is just as badly written as death of superman. It shows no respect for the average reader... And issue after issue SPock shows no signs of character development, no signs of Parker's return. What's with the hero's of marvel universe? Are they @##@%$&.... Save your money until Parker returns. Hopefully sooner than later. I'd ...

Yes this IS a classic storyline that will go down in history. Deal with it. 0

Well, Dan Slott got his wish and made a whole bunch of you really angry. But let's take a look at the facts: all major comics characters have had a death and return to life story arc. The only difference here is the media is not making a big deal out of it, or Marvel is choosing not to trumpet it to the media, but either way. Superman: huge long saga where he 'dies' and comes back after somehow he's on the bottom of the ocean. Batman has had 2 major stories where he was out of commission: Knigh...

    Superior Spider-Man #9 0

At first I didn't know what to think of this issue, but upon reading it a second time I realized how well crafted it is. First, the artwork and coloring is absolutely phenomenal, and is probably my favorite art in the series to date. Second, the writing is very well planned and makes great references to the past. The last thing I liked about this issue is what it is setting the path for in the future. As far as the content goes, I cringe at the idea of Peter Parker losing to Doc Ock, but the stor...

    What is this? 0

They have completely ruined Peter Parker's character saying he would kill or even risk somebody esle's life to protect his own at getting the chance to have his body back. Pete was never like this and in better writer's hands he would have sacrified himself to save that girl. As Ock would like to place the blame on Peter it is actually Ock's fault the girl was there to begin with. Also when Ock summoned the villians in Peter's mind, why didn't Peter summon the heroes? Plot convience can only ta...

    Superior Writing 0

I'll start by saying that I am Huge Peter Parker Fan. I found this issue to be bittersweet, But I have to say even if you didn't like The ending, the writing was Spectacular Peter seems to end up losing to Doc Oc, but it is actually left ambiguous with the last two panels blacking out and not showing us peter's fate. This is called a red herring my friends; and if you know Dan's writing he loves them; he did the same in the Spider man arc with menace. Even if I'm wrong & Peters fate is deat...

    Battle Of The Ages 0

In this issue you will see the Doctor Octopus Spider-Man go against the Peter Parker Spider-Man in a amazing fight to the death battle all taking place in Peters brain. One of the most shocking issues I have read in this series. This issue will most defiantly have you knowing who is the most Superior Spider-Man. Doc Oct uses one of his inventions to get into his brain and destroy all of Peters memory which isn't ok with Peter knowing if Doc Oct does that their will be no chance of Peter getting...

Superior Spider-Man #9 - It's all heroic as long as you can justify it...in your own head. (Spoilers) 0

As I stated at the start of my Venom review these are my first reviews, so they may not be the anything great. I grew up being a Spider-Man fan. But I am also someone who enjoys seeing the status quo of these fictional heroes thrown into disarray, as our own real lives are often subject to. So the Superior Spidey concept didn’t draw my ire, as it did for so many others, instead I was intrigued. I find Superior to be a title that tries to challenge what we consider the black and white of moralit...

    Superior Spider-Man 9 2

Ryan Stegman's artwork is back! And just in time too for the Parker-ectomy.The GoodRight now, I'm speechless. This was, by far, the best issue of this series so far. The battle between the Amazing Spider-Man and the Superior Spider-Man! Dan Slott does an outstanding job that compliments his skills as a writer for the Spider-Man title. He really nailed all the fine points of what makes Spider-Man who he is today and executed every situation masterfully with both Ock and Parker giving valid points...

The "Superior" Spider-Man my BEHIND! 0

...I cannot even begin to describe my hatred for this comic. But...I'll attempt to do so all the same.Daniel Slott was the current writer of Spider-Man for a considerably long time. And I had really enjoyed Spider-Island. Honestly, I had. It ended the Carlie/Peter relationship. It showed Spidey being APPRECIATED by the people of New York. It took Spidey in new directions, gave him his Spidey-Sense back AND reintroduced Kaine! I liked it a lot!...then this happened. But first, some context. It's...

    Troubled Mind, Trouble Writer 0

The first half of this issue was actually standard-fare. Doctor Octopus discovering that Peter residing inside him and then going into his own brain to dig out Peter's last memories was done brilliantly. This time you can actually feel the threat of Doc Ock invading Peter's mind, we haven't seen a Doc Ock this menacing in a while. The artwork is nothing to skim over, you want to take advantage and look at every detail in Peter's memories and see what they actually hold, it's quite fascinating h...
