Same old Slott 4

Smythe vs. SpOck in this issue and Slott continues to do what only he,I belive, likes and just writes what he feels like is interesting. The book lost me long time ago but I just keep buying it because I still have some hope that sometime later on Peter Parker will come back and it will be in this book.I started hating Slott because he is a douche and this book just keeps proving to me and all other Spider-Man fans that he just screws with the character and ruing everything about him.In this issu...

Superior Spider-Man 13 No Escape Part 3: The Slayer & The Slain 20

COVER ART: 3.5/5CAMUNGOLI/DELGADO team does an fine job on this cover. What I like the most is the little claw details on Superior Spider-Man's hands. His outfit, much like his current disposition, is much darker. The Lizard is drawn superbly as well. The symbolism of Spider-Man & the Lizard going back-to-back is expertly done. This isn't the best cover of this week (7/7/13) but there is a lot of symbolism here and that gives this book some extra points.STORY ARC: 5/5DAN SLOTT & CHRISTOS...

How Far Will They Go? 0

With orders to outright kill the Spider Slayer, we dive into a story brimming with potential. Does it live up to said hype? ... Not exactly, but it does do a moderately good job as a whole. For a story with a lot going on, it still doesn't feel like too much happens by the end of it. There's some unnecessary reminiscing of Doc Ock's past (something that happens a little too often), some fights that don't really happen, and an overall lack of meat at the end. And the last encounter with Spider Sla...

The death of Smythe leads to a brand new age, a Superior Spider-Man age! 0

My review for Superior Spider-Man #12. It's a battle to the death inside the super prison known as, The Raft; Spider-Man vs. The Spider Slayer (a.k.a. Smythe!)The GoodThe start of greatness! In this issue, Spider-Man vs. The Spider Slayer meets its conclusion! Trapped inside the Raft, The Superior Spider-Man knows that Smythe won't return to his cell nice and quietly; so the only thing to do is to end him, permanently! The Superior Spider-Man doesn't make a habit of killing off his adversaries, b...
