A new Super Hero will soon be flying into homes, as Warner Bros. Home Entertainment releases Supergirl: The Complete First Season on Blu-ray^TM and DVD onAugust 9, 2016. Delivering 10.9 million Total Viewers weekly,Supergirl isthe #2 series on CBS amongst Men 18-49, just behindThe Big Bang Theory and a Top 5 series on the network with Men 18-34, Men 25-54 and Tweens 12-17*. I gotta say I hated this show's pilot, but it really picked up as it went on. I'm actually excited for Season 2 now. It's nice to see a Super-product that actually emphasizes hope and optimism these days :D

Didn't think this would be out until September, so cool to see it's out in early August. Definitely gonna buy this.

So that means it'll probably be a little less at places like Target, Walmart, or Amazon.

Me too. I started watching just to give a female super hero a chance and after some episodes I started to really like and look foward to it.

So...what's the point of this? They're moving the show to CW so they're either going to continue the show as is but somehow blend Kara in and ignore the cross-over with Barry or bring her in a different way.

There seems no smooth way to bring her into the world of Flash and Arrow without also basically negating her entire first season

Best option: pretend the Barry cross-over didn't happen, introduce her as a brand new character and negate her vapid, crappy world of womens magazines, relationship issues and poor visual effects

I am so thankful for this show. This is the real Supergirl that every one adores. Not the NEW52 crap we were forced to deal with. Im not a fan of the Arrow verse on the CW but i adore Supergirl the series. Melissa Benoit is perfect and the whole cast is fresh and up beat. The chemestry between Supergirl and Cat Grant is what really makes this show different from other versions of Supergirl in the past.
