Grant Gustin copped a bit flak about his Glee past when going into The Flash... But i think he's doing rather well in that role so here's hoping it's 2/2 with Melissa...

Never watched Glee or Whiplash so I don't know much about her.

She looks nice though and bares a pretty good resemblance of the character (after a bit of blonde hair dye, she'll look more the part)

Seems fine. But i hope the show is good. I have no idea how good the budget will be but really dont want them to shy away from other krypton character. Like superboy, superman, bad guys too.
Hope it looks good and is not like smallville. I dont hate it, i never found it that interesting.

When will Supergirl be available in tv?

I was hoping it would be on CW so she can crossover with Flash and Arrow. Being on CBS now makes is near impossible.

These posts always bring out the "I would've done a better job casting than the casting director" comments.

I kind of want a musical number now with the Flash, Supergirl and Arsenal...

Anyways, I liked her in Glee so hopefully she can do the 'S' Shield justice. This will probably get me to read the New 52 Supergirl comic before the show is released.

Not a fan of this at all. This is just a BS way to get that god awful trinity into the TV-verse in some way, shape or form. I mean, the creation of Lexi Luthor is just a disgusting, sexist attempt to use the fact they want a token minority of diversity & their hard-on for the Trinity to kill two birds with one stone.

AND both companies racing to be the FIRST to have that prominent female character. Even though IF Supergirl the series works, its because its SuperMAN, & therefore will all be used by them to show that a female property can ONLY work if its connected to a male franchise.

I mean, they might as well use Artemis of Bana-M , Arissa & Jade to bring in the GLC, or at the very least use Andronema & use the LOSH since time travel exists.

Not only do i HATE Superman, Batman & Wonder woman, or should I say Clark, Bruce & Diana, but in his DEFENSE also, if you are going to put kryptonians into the Flash/Arrow-Verse, shit or get off the pot & bring the big blue cheese into the show. After all, you already got his damn ACTOR working for you.

i like her, i really hope she has blonde hair as supergirl. If shes assuming the linda danvers alias, idc what her hair color is. But as a big SG fan i really hope shes blonde.
