Mind says:
"So it is a bit of a guilty pleassure, but I like it quite a lot, specially Ian Churchill's drawings. He is so awesome, even though it is true that he draws very skinny ankles. I know that there's a bunch of fanservice and all, but some stories have been quite good, I mean, LOEB RULES rite? and well what can I say, a flying blondie always gets me interested."
You just became one of my favorite posters. I'm recently got into (maybe late last year) when a friend of mine left me a huge collection of his comics, i read through some of the superman batman adventurers and stumbled upon her origin, since it was from the beginning i found it immensely interesting, because i could start from the being, so of course i ran out and bought all her comics and subcribed to them as well... as of late, im kind of enjoying them though I wish Chuchill was still on pencil duty, cause everyone else since then has been a real disappointment, and peoples constantly comparisons of anorexic girls and kara doesn't help much no matter how untrue they, are. People love to hate so much and it makes me sick, especially since the artist in general isn't intentionally doing anything wrong, its the same way other comic characters are drawn but yet they seem to try and single out this one guy and this one character as if its something new. Personally I don't see the comparisons. Superhero comics look a lot different than studio life drawings and people need to learn the difference and accept it.
I also think the people who are making those obsurd comparisons are just upset because they don't like these Kara's characterization, because she isn't Ms Perfect, which if they really wanted they could have just picked up JSA and admire Power Girl who is pretty much the old Supergirl "Ms Perfection, Ms Goodie Goodie."
