    Review: Supergirl #53 1

In the wake of the War of the Supermen, Kara deals with the loss of her family and her people, and threatens to leave the life of super-heroism once and for all, while an enemy joins S.T.A.R. Labs and causes ruckus in Metropolis.  The Good I don't regularly read this book, but on occasion I've been known to pick it up and give it a read through, and after each read through I always ask myself, "Why isn't this on my pull list." It never fails. I loved the dialogue between Lana and Kara in th...

    Kara Zor-el no more!!!!!! 0

Cover The cover is great and the art is just great on the cover. Story Supergirl and Superwoman are fighting and this took place during the war of Superman. Then Superwoman is decaying and says how much it hurts and how Supergirl did this to her. Then Superwoman is on fire and so is everyone else that is around her. She is in hell and then she wakes up and it was all a dream and ends up using her heat vision and makes on the ceiling.   So, the next morning Kara is painting up the room that way...

Cover: I liked the cover a lot. Art: The art was gorgeous.  I found myself stopping during the story many times admiring the art and backgrounds.  Even the citizens of Metropolis were interesting.  Story/Plot: Supergirl is dealing with a lot of pain after what happened to New Krypton.  I thought the emotions conveyed were appropriate.  It has been, I believe, a month since the big war happened.  She has already shed her tears.  I am happy to see her relationship with Lana is continuing.  The sce...

Supergirl is back on Earth 0

I been kind of out of the Supergirl comics lately mostly because of the tie-ins with New Krypton and War on the Supermen. However, those events are over and now, we came move on back to Kara being back on Earth.   Pros:  Out of all the times Kara's been depressed in this series, most of them didn't make the bit of sense at the time or were out of place. This issue however, it appropriate for the way she's feeling right now. She lost her entire planet and family recently. The nightmare Kara is ha...

    Review: Supergirl #55 5

The Story Supergirl and her twisted Bizarro doppelganger clash in a all out battle!! Oh yeah and there's some other stuff too. :)   The Good  Let's see where should I start... How about the intense battle between Supergirl and her Bizarro double? It take place for a majority of the issue, but it really is a fluidic conflict and it totally keeps you captivated throughout. Secondly, the look at Bizarrogirl's origin in regards to how she got to earth and the planet Htrae was so solid and ...
