 Continued from ADVENTURE COMICS #10! Supergirl meets Brainiac 5 of the Legion of Super-Heroes for the first time! But Brainy has not only already met Supergirl, he's already loved and lost her. A single issue of a major crossover is usually 1/10th plot and 9/10ths character-focused, and Supergirl 52 does not buck that trend.  I was originally interested in this issue due to the revelations about "Supergirl" and her role in the Legion.  I say "Supergirl" because it was unclear until this issue as to which Supergirl we're talking about.  Does the pre-Crisis Supergirl remain the one involved with the Legion?  And if so, does Brainiac 5 remember her?  And how does he feel about this Superg...

Brainiac 5 struggles to keep the secret of his relationship with Supergirl secret while they try to shut down Brainiac's reactor core in the Last Stand of Krypton. THE GOODCharacterization is the strong point here and Gates conveys a true spectrum of convincing personalities that Rodriguez  then conveys convincingly. Review: Supergirl #52 0

I enjoyed this issue...of course I've been following all the threads so I wasn't confused.  Brainy was amusing in this issue with his conflicts over telling Supergirl that he loves her.    The drawings are well done with my favorite being of Superman's arrival.  I enjoy the little clues telling of Supergirl and Superman's trips to the future, having read some of those stories myself.    Also pleased to see how Gor goes out, his character has been the bully Kryptonian for too long, even if it was...
