Review: Superboy #5 0

Kid Flash and Superboy race around the planet... and by race, I mean they run for a bit, then stop. Run for a bit, then stop. Repeat until someone wins.   I'm going to do this review a little differently since I feel a bit down the middle with it. The Good The story has a great Silver Age feel to it: Two great heroes race each other. Pandering to the Supply and Demand 0

This issue was the most hyped of all the Jeff Lemire issues after issue #1, in the teasers of issue one we saw some cool things like Poison Ivy, who has made her appearance already, but the preview of the Superboy/Kid Flash race got everyone excited and I think that was the flaw to his issue, the hype.  The standard cover is okay looking, while the lovely Francis Manapul cover I felt is a spoiler in retrospective, it is nice that the current king of Toronto cover art got to do a cover for the cu...

Superboy vs. Kid Flash 0

Synopsis: Superboy vs Kid Flash in a race around the world. What's Good? Finally, the event I've been looking forward to since Conner suggested it to Bart. While the race isn't on scale as previous Superman vs Flash races, it's all fun (especially on who wins). Some plots pop up from previous issue like Psi Lad and the creepy farmers. Considering the reveal of Psi Lad goal in the last issue, something tells me that he's connected to those farmers somehow. And there's also a possible explanation...
