3/25/18: Another one that I missed, DC finally published this one in 2016. They went with making it a Suicide Squad book, as RazzaTazz had suggested in the comments of WUBI #49, but I have to admit that I'm surprised at that. Checkmate had the first part in this story, and I figured DC would have gone with that. On the other hand, they've been reprinting the 80's Suicide Squad series, so it makes sense that they would reprint Janus Directive as part of that. There's also the point that they added Suicide Squad #26 to this collection. It doesn't have the Janus Directive banner on it, but it predates Checkmate #15 by one month. So another good reason why DC would use Suicide Squad instead of Checkmate for the title.

For the cover, they went with Suicide Squad #27- the first part of that series to actually have the Janus Directive banner on it (even though they didn't use the banner on the TPB cover), but the second official part of the arc. And of course, it's in glorious full color. So how about it? Did you buy it?
