    Fantastic New Direction

The Good: I love the introduction of new team members and the redirection of the original cast. I've enjoyed this book since the start and didn't really feel like we needed a new creative team but if the book continues as strongly as it started then it will indeed make for a great story. Ales was able to get James Gordon Jr. right in this story, he's creepy and genius all in one. His introduction to the team makes me even more excited for this title.

The Bad: Resurrecting the dead members of the team is something I'm hesitant to say I like. Being able to kill off minor villains each month was something I was looking forward to, now everyone has the potential to be immortal and the comic book death again has no meaning. Also, how does Batman not know about this serum!?

Summary: If you're looking for a jumping on point for this book this is a good place to start. The story is great and the art is very well done.

Ales Kot takes over the Squad this month and quite frankly I know nothing about him. I've heard good things so we shall see if he can turn around this lackluster book. This issue is an exercise for Amanda Waller to see how much it takes to psychologically break her team. She puts a few of them through the mental ringer to test their mettle. The results are unpredictable and pretty entertaining. We also see new team members in the form of Cheetah and Unknown Soldier and a surprise member. I think...
