Running with the DevilI have been interested in this series ever since I first heard about it many years ago, but until this moment, I never found an occasion to buy an issue. With The Death of a Family crossover, I now have my excuse. Do Harley Quinn and Joker still have the romantic chemistry, or does their relationship fail to sizzle? In this issue, Joker interrupts Deadshot’s funeral to bring Harley back to his side and ask for a favor.Death of a Suicider? If you are thinking about buying this...

I admit to not having picked up an issue of Suicide Squad in a while, so I'm not really familiar with the Regulus/Basilisk storyline, and thus can't really comment on the middle of the book, dealing with the fallout of that storyline. However, I can comment on the parts of this issue that tie into Death of the Family. We get a further exploration of the relationship between Harley Quinn and Joker. While we get nothing new about the quite dangerous and abusive relationship between them, we get a f...

I love the set of Capullo Mask covers, but I did really like the original solicited cover for this issue. The graves and the laughter formed and intensely creepy tone. This one's still awesome like all the Mask Covers.Ok, I gotta say this is one of the best Suicide Squad issues yet. The whole opening funeral scene was phenomenal. Harley's funeral dress was AWESOME and so her kind of thing, and Amanda was much closer to The Wall than ever before. She made such callous remarks to dampen Deadshot's...

I want my Harley back 5

I had so much fun reviewing Occupy Hell,That I decided to rhyme in this review as well.No particular reason, I just thought it’d be fun,And God knows, I’ll need some help with this oneI haven’t been following this, and I’ll tell you why.I simply can’t bear to watch Harley Quinn die. What’s that you say? Harley Quinn still breathes? If that’s Harley Quinn then I’m Keanu Reeves.I love Harley Quinn ‘cause she’s in love with The Joker,Not because she’ll screw any schmuck who will poke her. And, Oh God,...

THE GOOD: Fernando Dagino does a fantastic job at drawing this issue. He has to draw something that would be a little weird but he does it like a pro and it look phenomenal. The way he draws Joker is terrifying but he looks more like the classic Joker then any other artist has drawn him. The way he draws fire and other things is great and really makes a few panels stunning. The story really focuses on Batman #13 and #14. It adds more to the whole story and it works well. The Joker when he first ...

Does the cover portray what happens in the issue?Art - 5/5- Do I personally like this artist's style? Does the artist stay true to the characters appearance?Color/Ink - 5/5- Does the work blend well with the artist? Is the coloring/inking enjoyable and easy to distinguish what's happening?Layout - 4/5- Does the layout of the issue make it easy to read? Does the issue have a good flow of the plot ...
