The first issue of Streamline Comics was written and drawn by Dennis Gifford, later one of Britain's most notable comics historians, over a single weekend while he was doing his national service in the RAF. The comic featured the adventures of Streamline, a superfast superhero. Only four issues were published by small British publisher Cardal, but Streamline would surface again in Grant Morrison's Zenith as part of the superhero army in Zenith Phase III.
