Born to an American photo journalist and Kenyan princess, Ororo Munroe is one of the most recognizabe superheroines in the Marvel Universe. Using her unique ability to see and manipulate natural energy patterns of the universe to summon any type of weather phenomenon she desires in the blink of an eye, she is called Storm.
The once-mysterious Cable (a.k.a. Nathan Summers) is Cyclops' time-traveling son who was infected with the deadly techno-organic virus during his infancy, which he keeps at bay using his advanced psionic powers. At one time a founding member and leader of the militant team called X-Force, previously known as the New Mutants, Cable takes the aimless youths under his wing and whips them into fighting shape in order to prepare them for future threats.
The older brother of Colossus and Magik.
A mutant able to control her bone growth, providing her with armor, clubs, and knives. As a child, she was taken in by the Morlocks where she would form the terrorist group Gene Nation before joining the X-Men. Her allegiances have shifted frequently since then. She was once de-powered after M-Day.
Jean Grey was one of the five original X-Men. An omega-level mutant telepath and powerful telekinetic, Jean has gained near limitless powers as a recurrent host of the Phoenix Force. She is known for her return from death and as the wife of Cyclops.
Callisto is the former leader of the Morlocks. After M-Day, she lost her powers, but recently she recovered them back.
The first X-Man, Scott Summers possesses the mutant ability to fire powerful concussive blasts through his eyes that act as a portal to another dimension full of the force that makes up his optic blast. He is visually distinctive for the ruby quartz visor he wears to control his devastating power. A born leader, Cyclops succeeded his mentor Professor X to command the X-Men.
The youngest member of the original X-Men. Bobby is an Omega-level mutant, although it took some help from Emma Frost to realize this. Bobby's control of ice is vast; he can create shields, clones, spikes, slides and also freeze others. He was recently elected to Krakoa's X-Men
Forge is a Cheyenne with natural mystical abilities and the mutant power to innately comprehend technology and build anything he can think of. He's a former love of Storm.
A long-lived mutant with the rage of a beast and the soul of a Samurai, James "Logan" Howlett's once mysterious past is filled with blood, war, and betrayal. Possessing an accelerated healing factor, keenly enhanced senses, and bone claws in each hand (along with his skeleton) that are coated in adamantium; Wolverine is, without question, the ultimate weapon.
Member of the Morlock extremist group, Gene Nation. Vessel gains strength from the souls of the deceased, similar to the powers that Threnody possessed.

Professor Charles Xavier is the creator of the X-Men and founder of the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters. His dream of peaceful coexistence between mutants and humanity has long been the driving force for the X-Men. An immensely powerful telepath and scientific genius, Xavier was among the world's greatest masterminds. Killed at the hands of a Phoenix crazed Cyclops, Xavier's memory and dream still remains and motivates his X-Men to keep fighting for a world that fears and hates them.
An extremely violent Morlock, Hemingway was a member of Gene Nation. He died, but was later briefly resurrected by Eli Bard & Selene via the Transmode Virus.

Boost was a Morlock whom became part of Gene Nation and helped out the X-men on one occasion.
D'Gard was a Mentor and leader of the Morlock refugees known as the Gene Nation after he took over from the X-man Storm.
A Morlock refugee whom was a part of the mutant group named Gene-Nation. She and fellow member Boost where romantically involved.
A Morlock who lives on The Hill.
A Morlock killed by Mikhail Rasputin and whose body was used as a double for Storm.
