was thinking the same thing , i notice she's either put with someone whos raw power is significantly less than hers or with someone whos WAY above her levels ... thor for example , she looses in every way imaginable and wasnt this done before?
Thor could defeat her with relative ease, but he would never hurt Storm, they are sort of kindred spirits! And it's not the first time he has snuck a kiss from her either, if I'm not mistaken.

Jhazz ... storm doesnt stand a chance , her durability is her biggest downfall and she did say Thor controls weather easier than she does ... how ever when they fought he was impressed by the sheer strength of the storm she created as the scan clearly shows .. he said it could wear the earth down to its bedrock yet he's there smiling and lookin all awesome and stuff
So...Storm can be attacked by summoned Lighting? Doesn't she control the weather?
yes , thors weather control is magical in origin so she could be hurt by it , and her immunity to the elements (if shes fighting another elemental) largely depends on the amount of control she has over that element thats why shes been shown to wrest control of elements from other elementals once the element falls under her domain also she isnt harmed by her power manifestations , lightning or any other weather phenomenon thats natural in origin

Thor doesn't control nothing Minjor does everything. An Thor"Minjor" can control the weather with out much stress or is any at all an in much bigger areas but Storm controls the weather in more detail an better than Thor"Minjor" can ever.

Storm has beaten the nigh-omnipotent Trion. Besides the Thor vs Storm was done in poor writing. why would Storm allow herself to be kissed by Thor when they're fighting? She didn't turn even into Rogue Storm.

Weather Control
Wielding Mjolnir, Thor can summon and control the powers of the storm, causing rain, wind, thunder and lightning. With it, Thor has shown the ability to create electrical storms, hurricane winds, tornadoes, tidal waves, blizzards as well as earthquakes that have been shown to run across an entire planet. Thor has the ability to affect the weather on a planetary wide scale but often refrain from doing so from the mass damage that it could cause. Thor is able to stop any of the weather conditions that he creates. THOR'S ABILITY TO CONTROL WEATHER IS SAID TO EXCEDE BEINGS OF THOSE SUCH AS STORM. It is a very common misconception that Thor is unable to control the weather without his hammer but he indeed can and has been shown to do so on a number of occasions since Thor shares a unique bond and affinity with his hammer, which has been increased further after Dr. Stephen Strange bound Thor's lifeforce to it to repair the hammer. Via this bond, Thor has a strong affinity with the forces of weather and acting as a conduct can channel Mjolnir's powers through himself allowing him to summon lighting from his hands.... and i dont think turning into roguestorm would be wise she wouldn't risk harming the earth since she feels its pain as her own
