As you all know she recently created an EM barrier around herself something that she should have able to do from the beginning with her electric powers. We've always heard people say she's a glass cannon.. so now what? Now that she can create forcefields/shields/barriers will the haters take several seats?

If she starts consistently tanking powerful hits, then yes. Loads of characters have auto-shield showings, but if your auto-shields only activate once in a blue moon, I don’t see the point of bringing them up.

Storm is still a Glass Cannon. A Good punch from a 50-100 toner could do her in.

Sue Richards is a Glass Cannon. You don’t see her get hit much because of her FF.

HOWEVER, AL Ewing did say he was going to be doing some interesting and new fun ways to use her powers so Storm MIGHT NOT be a Glass Cannon anymore in the coming days.

I'm actually upset since today they went and killed my Kurt because he needed to move a moon and made Storm look helpless. Like, she is the Queen of Sol and the first chance they get for her to defend her kingdom and they have her looking weak.

These other X-men writers should sit back and let Ororo appear in the books of people who care about her.

This is VERY Much True.

I would argue Storm actually has a little bit of Superhuman Durability. But, unfortunately people don't see her Defending herself or taking hits and more or less see her knocked down. Also, I hope when Storm and the Brotherhood comes out that she uses more Defense Shields.

Storm is NO Longer a Glass Cannon.

We finally have sufficient Evidence to state that Storm will throw up a Force Field in Battle to protect herself. This is the 3rd Time Storm has show to have Defensive Capabilities. Which now is very much applicable and consistent in Battle. :-)
