Dionne Fortean is a discharged Marine and daughter of Gen. Fortean. Posing as her dead father, Abomination ran a number of gamma experiments using skin grafts he donated, including one that experimented on Dionne. She gained the ability to absorb scrap metal and other junk, increasing her body mass and strength.

Stockpile made her debut in Gamma Flight #1 by Al Ewing, Crystal Frasier, and Lan Medina. It was a spinoff of Ewing's Immortal Hulk.

After running away from Abomination's facility and getting into trouble with some local cops, Gamma Flight came out of hiding to rescue her. She joined up and led them back to the Texas town that was turned into a gamma research lab.

After they fought their way in to cure the gamma zombies and run off Abomination, Stockpile vowed to stay with the team, which planned to stick around the tone to help the town with their after effects of gamma.
