The press release: "Creator’s Edge Press is proud to announce the most recent addition to their partnership in Stephen Lindsay. Stephen is best known for his top-selling book ‘Jesus Hates Zombies’, but also has an array of books currently available online at his personal website www.captionsandballoons.com. Stephen will take over as Marketing Director for the newly established publishing company, relieving the company’s current Marketing Director Chuck Messinger to focus on his new position as Public Relations Director. “Stephen comes to the group with an understanding and respect for what we want to offer the industry with our line of products. His knowledge of both the industry as well as our marketing agenda makes him an ideal asset for our organization. That and we love the man!” says Chuck Messinger.
“Even before I had the opportunity to meet the Creators Edge team, I knew I liked where the company was headed. They have a real focus on story, and that’s something that is often overlooked within this industry that so easily gets distracted by flashy artists and flavor-of-the-month writers. Story always has been, and always will be, the key. Then, once I did meet the team, I really knew that these were people I wanted to be associated with. I’m extremely excited to join the Creators Edge family I can only hope that my own experience within this industry will help me bring something of value to the table,” says Stephen. Stephen has already brought two of his creator-owned projects to Creator’s Edge Press; Devil’s Trail and Warriors of Dharuk. Devil’s Trail #1 is currently available at comic stores as well as through the company website. Warriors of Dharuk #1 is scheduled for release this Fall.
Creator’s Edge Press is a venue for up-and-coming writers, artists and creative minds. Established and brought to life with a singular vision: keeping independent comics independent. The company has an extensive repertoire of creator-owned intellectual properties and newly licensed properties with a broad range of genres for all sensibilities.
