Originally idolizing Doctor Octopus, Ollie Osnick used his intellect to create a pair arms and become his sidekick. After a run in with the villain himself and being saved by Spider-Man, Ollie became a hero.
Just wondering why steel spider didn't appear in the story arc. Addmittedly half the characters shown on the advertisement didn't make a single appearance, but come on, they could'nt be bothered to even include him in the group shot. His not dead as far as I know and he's got the spider theme down.
Plus didn't he lose an arm recently? But yeah, I agree it is pretty lame to include characters on an advertisement but not have them appear in the actual comics.
@Zoom: Hasn't he got a new arm yet? If I were him I'd settle for a prosthetic claw! (And no, I don't consider him a "Z-lister"! Even if he is handicapped!)
