Originally idolizing Doctor Octopus, Ollie used his intellect to create a pair arms and become his sidekick. After a run in with the villain himself and being saved by Spider-Man, Ollie became a hero.
Dr. Karla Sofen is a founding member of the Thunderbolts and former member of the Masters of Evil. She has flirted with both sides of the law in Norman Osborn's Avengers as Ms. Marvel. She's a control freak with nearly limitless power granted her by moonstones, hence her codename.
Former super villain but has since reformed
MacDonald "Mac" Gargan was a failing private investigator that was turned into the Scorpion with financial help from J. Jonah Jameson. He became a host of the Venom symbiote and was part of Norman Osborn's Dark Avengers. After the US Government took the symbiote, he became The Scorpion once again.
Songbird is one of the veterans in the Thunderbolts.
After being given kinetic energy based powers in a laboratory accident, Robbie Baldwin becomes the costumed hero Speedball and joins the New Warriors and later the Thunderbolts as Penance.
The Venom symbiote originally bonded with Peter Parker, AKA Spider-Man, during his adventure in the first Secret Wars on the Beyonder's planet called Battleworld. Initially, he thought the symbiote was just an attire. However, upon his discovery, he rejected it because he realized that it was sentient. Since then, the symbiote has bonded with several other hosts, including Eddie Brock, Angelo Fortunato, Flash Thompson, Ann Weying, and even Carol Danvers. Currently, its host is Eddie Brock.
