In the myriad of exotic planets in our universe a special entity would be born from the planet Gryx. The young girl would be rejected by her family and people due to her being a mutant. She was never given a name. With the dangers of surviving alone, she was forced to raise herself in isolation. Living past the expectations of her people, now a teenager, the girl was given to the power hungry Dominators as part of an invasion of Earth. Her people thought themselves spared as the girl became an offering to be meant as Gryx support for the Dominators' walanr. She was detained on their prison named Starlag, there she soon befriended another prisoner, an unnamed Durlan.

Stealth was created by Alan Grant and Barry Kitson.

    Character Evolution

The prison of Starlag turned out to be the catalyst for a small rebellion against the Dominators. Their leaders were the dimension jumping Earth-man Adam Strange and the genius Coluan Vril Dox II. Stealth, along with Durlan, Garryn Bek, Lyrissa Mallor, and Strata, joined Dox in helping to defeat the Dominators' plans. After figuring that the girl had need of a name, and considering her gifts, they coined her "Stealth".

Realizing that they had won the fight but still had lost so many personal freedoms, the group decided to accompany Vril Dox II to his home planet of Colu. There they were convinced by Dox to help him free his planet from the control of the Computer Tyrants. Using their mutual determination, and having worked well as a team before, they were successful in shutting down the Computer Tyrants' complex mainframe.

Dox laid out plans to form a new galactic police agency, a force as powerful, diverse, and reputable as the once great Green Lantern Corps. Feeling uncomfortable with the idea, Stealth and the others were unsure at first to accept Dox's offer, but they agreed that Dox was to dangerous to not be kept under close watch. The new team traveled to Bek's homeworld of Cairn, known galaxy wide as the "drug world." They quickly deposed the chief drug lord and secured the allegiance of Cairn's police.
