April O'Neil is a human female who, in most incarnations, was rescued by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles after being attacked by thugs. After overcoming her initial fear of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, they have since formed a close friendship. In some incarnations, April is romantically linked with Casey Jones.
Donatello is the scientist and engineer of the turtles. Most known for his Bo Staff, purple bandanna, and the nickname "Donnie" or "Donny" as called by his brothers and friends. He is responsible for all the turtles vehicles of transportation.

He is often considered the original Ninja Turtle because of the first concept art of a unnamed turtle that had nunchucks strapped to his arms.
Often misunderstood, or dismissed as the dark one, Raphael is known to go to the extremes with his anger. He has a hard time handling his temper, pressured from the unfair facts of life. Most known for his twin sai, red bandanna, and the nickname "Raph" from his brothers and friends.
