First Issue What Next 1
I read comic book only one time, and the the time i was reading the comic i was wondering how those this compare to the animated series. For example hotstreak name is different from the animated series. This comic issue does create a lot of wondering of what is going to be next. Like it does mention his best friend. And his comstume suck in the earlier issues like this one and on the animated series his comstume is best superhero comstume i ever saw. That is all I need to say on this review. But...

Static in the air 0
Collectors item first issue. Nowadays Static is a very popular black hero thanks to his cartoon that used to air on the WB network but back when this came out eh was a nobody with powers similar to black lightning. Even his costume shows how far he's come since his debut. This issue is worth a check if you like static and want to see how it all began. I give this a 4/5...

Virgil comes across as the insecure friend you had in high school he feels the need to hide his inadequacy with constant jokes and one liners. There was good action and the art seemed to match the tone of the story and the overall style of the dakotaverse. The Good: The artwork is pretty solid, and definitely one of the more coherent of the Milestone series'. Of special note is the display of Static's lightning. It just looks so damn cool, and so damn unique for electricity combat. On that note, his abilities are pretty unique. He can use his electricity straightforward, but he can also channel it into electromagnetism, powering his transportation, and creating a lot more options in combat.
