Fame and glory were to be Kiriyu's...until a fateful encounter with the brilliant Yamabiki threatened to rob him of both his reputation and his empire. Desperate to rid himself of the usurper, Kiriyu designed a raditation "accident" that would end Yamabiki's life. But his plan backfired, muting his own beloved daughter into a hideous monstrosity. Upon reuniting with Yamabiki in the Cradle, years of resentment boil over within Kiriyu, who whips out a knife and sinks it into his old assistant's chest!
