Invasion Extra: First Strike! Continued from FIRESTORM (1982 2nd Series) #80. Starman, Firestorm, Firehawk and Power Girl face Khundish warriors of the alien invasion fleet in the South Pacific. Their target? Adam Strange.

While camping in the Rocky Mountains, Will Payton was struck by an energy beam from an out-of-control satellite. When he awoke a month later, he had changed.

He had become stronger, tougher...He could fly, radiate blinding light and searing heat! And, to his amazement, Will found that he could alter the shape and color of his features!

Troubled by this bizarre change, and unaware of its cause, Will nonetheless tried to accept his new powers - - and used them to help people as... Starman!

Will has been captured by Dr. Melrose and his Power Elite. It was Melrose who designed the satellite and intended to use it to power his team in response to the metahuman community - to create real, American heroes. But Melrose and his Power Elite aren't the only ones with an ulterior motive...

This is an Invasion tie-in issue.
