Back in action as The Sandman, Wes makes his rescue attempt to free Jack, as he had years before for Ted. He provides a distraction for Jack to overpower his two guards. When the armored suit one of the guards is wearing starts to overheat, Wes tells Jack to pull it off before it kills him. How the explosion goes unnoticed, I don't know, but it does.
