We've all heard the 'controversy over certain scenes in Scott Lobdell's RED HOOD AND THE OUTLAWS #1. As a long time writer of the New Teen Titans, Marv Wolfman wrote many many issues with Starfire. This weekend at Long Beach Comic Con, Marv Wolfman expressed his thoughts on Lobdell's take on Starfire.

Marv Wolfman is from a different planet. His attitudes and cultural perspective on violence is just different to us Earthlings. We should accept his liberal attitudes on and towards violence though choking stuff, because we all know, secretly we all like to choke stuff, and people that don't like to choke stuff should stop whining and just stop buying the uh... uhm, wait, huh? Anyway, his body his choice, don't oppress people, people!!

I actually like that they're being amiable about it. I've been very critical of Red Hood and the Outlaws but none of that ire should be directed at the writer, just the implementation of the book.

Scott Lobdell already said that Raven is coming back. Anyway, stop being a tool. This Teen Titans has actually been pretty damned good. Probably just another fan who is SO pissed off about losing prior history that he/she won't read any of The New 52 (pretty ridiculous when you consider some of the stupidity and BS that was considered part of the old DCU....).

While my knowledge of the Teen Titans comic is limited, I have always had the understanding that Starfire was always a free-love star hippie with a revealing costume, but was also a competent warrior and a powerful staple of the Teen Titans team. And while I haven't read the new Starfire, she seems the same to me. A contrast from the cartoon where she was a naive child-like alien.

Judging by starfires costume i'd say he enjoys that.
