    For two centuries man had explored the Galaxies in his neutron-powered space liners, travelling faster than light for tedious months across the vastness of space until he could reach one of the black holes that littered the Galaxies. These cosmic whirlpools of energy, that sucked light and even stars into themselves, were entered by the spacers, using the incredible cosmic forces there they could by-pass time, and in seconds hurl themselves from one Galaxy to another. But what if an artificial black hole could be created in near space? By using it, months of search and travel could be eliminated. It was to attempt this that the OMEGA EXPERIMENT was set up…

    A promising start for a new series at that time. 0

    The first issue of this line was a basic Sci-Fi storyline, nothing revolutionary. DC Thomson has been more known for their long running Commando comics which at that time had covered WW2.Sci-Fi was at the peak of it's popularity with many new films and TV series coming out after the craze of Star Wars, and not being one to fail to capitalise, this digest sized comic came out. They were never easy to find though.As to the issue itself, first off, the character name of Lute Fireball is a bit......
