When he was only a young child vader said that he felt a very presence when fighting a jedi night and he said that galen was even more powerful then his father, despite being a child. Then after vader took him in and started training him for around 12 years, he had been able to take on Jedi masters like shaak ti and was even able to take on vader in lightsaber duels. He also had a strong connection to the force being able to use powerful lightning, use a special ability which freaken MELTED people and stormtroopers in armor all around him, and causally throw around walkers like at-st's and at-dp's. And then his most impressive feat, he was able to use the force and GUIDE down a god damn STAR DESTROYER that was going to crash down, though he did pass out after he was done, but he still did it.
He was able to do all of this when he was only 20 years old, if he had more training he definitely could probably be around the level of characters like prime vader, ROTS palps, mace windu and maybe around prime reven. But he wouldnt become as powerful as someone like grandmaster luke.
"You could have been my successor, my equal" granted this is from a non canon alt ending but still. Def around the tier of TFU Sidious, maybe even ROTJ Sid. But I honestly am not sure if he could have ever been DE Sidious tier. Maybe?
And then his most impressive feat, he was able to use the force and GUIDE down a god damn STAR DESTROYER that was going to crash down, though he did pass out after he was done, but he still did it.
This is false, inn every version of the feat ( including the novel ), the ISD is depicted with active engines that Starkiller must overcome, game quite literally shows Star Destroyer being stable in air just fine and you have to overpower those engines keeping it there and bring it down while fighting TIE fighters attacking you at the same time , it was SK who overpowered its engines, destroying them in process that caused it to crush down:
Novel Version
"The scaffolding around the nearly completed Star Destroyer had bent and torn completely away, leaving the ship free to power down into the atmosphere of Raxus Prime. Already it was visible as a distinct triangle glowing orange around its leading edges and conning tower. It was coming directly toward him.
It was aiming for him."
-
"Except the Star Destroyer was growing larger with each passing second, and waves of TIE fighters and TIE bombers were pouring forth from its brand-new hangar decks. Laserfire cut huge super-hot channels through the atmosphere ahead of them. The apprentice ignored it all. While the illusion held, he moved his hand a very slight distance to his right. The sensation of containing a vast, million-ton machine in the tip of one finger was deeply disorienting. He felt as though every muscle fiber, nerve, and bone groaned along with the metal seams and joints of the ship. What it felt, he felt, too, and even a small acceleration had a profound effect on such a large scale. It resisted with all the momentum it possessed."
-
It was still coming in low on the horizon, aiming to pass over him and strafe him from above. He shifted his hand a second time, but instead of changing its course he mistakenly gave it a slight tumble. He needed to apply the Force the right way for this to work, taking the growing forces of friction and the shifting of its center of gravity into account. A spinning Star Destroyer would do more damage than one burying itself nose-first into the cannon and its superstructure. Damage was good, when it came to destroying the Emperor's handiwork, but too much damage could destroy him and perhaps the Rogue Shadow as well under a deadly rain of molten shrapnel." - The Force Unleashed.
PS2/PS3/Xbox 360 Version
Starkiller strains against the engines of an ISD actively trying to resist his pull from 6:30-12:15 ( 5 minutes and 45 seconds ).
Wii/Nintendo DS Version
TFU Trailer Depiction
These engines are powerful enough to overpower gravity force of planet level black hole mind you :
This was done after he destroyed Star Destroyer factory that was compared to moon in size with his lightning as well, causing these ships to go down in the first place. And game shows that he did not
pass out either.
He was able to do all of this when he was only 20 years old, if he had more training he definitely could probably be around the level of characters like prime vader, ROTS palps, mace windu and maybe around prime reven.
He was already above all of those , he literally has both better stand alone feats and he drove far stronger TFU Palpatine to desperation in near equal clash , after beating Vader and army on Death Star
^ this is completely false, we know that palps was completely holding back and wasnt even trying at all since he wanted starkiller alive because he would be a valuable asset.
Another staggering, painful step and the Emperor was within the apprentice's reach. With shaking fingers, he took the old man's bony shoulders in his hands and gripped them tight. The Sith lightning spread to engulf the two of them, fueled by both their desperations. The Emperor tipped back his head and howled in lascivious pain." - The Force Unleashed.
On top of that, he was even confirmed to be on part with TFU Emperor by developers of game, in officially published source
"The Apprentice is the photo negative of Luke Skywalker. He's been raised by Darth Vader, and is what Luke would have become if he had joined his father. He's up there with the top tier. He's extremely powerful. "

But he wouldnt become as powerful as someone like grandmaster luke.
Agreed.
I would say he has around a similar to potential to Kyle Katarn, who is stated in DF2's dark side ending to on par with Palpatine, though the version of Palpatine is unspecified.
@redsithdisciple: Kyle Katarn? Similar to Palps? When did that happen
@redsithdisciple: Interesting… never saw that, thx
@mr-yes: I found the quote if you're interested.
"At the end of Jedi Knight, the player (as Kyle) is either a consummately powerful warrior, having vanquished the evil Dark Jedi Jerec in face-to-face combat... or a figure of almost Palpatine-like power, as a Dark Jedi in charge of the Imperial Remnant."
