Vector in Legacy ends on a highnote
Vector concludes finally, and changes are in store for Legacy.
Pros:
While Vector was pretty much a boring story overall, the conclusion of it in Legacy left a bigger impact than I thought it would be. I thought it was pretty hilarious seeing Cade take on Darth Stryfe and taking him out so quickly by playing dirty. The battle was fantastic throughout, as it was clear that some people might not make it alive. As expected, the fate of Celeste Monre and the Muur Talisman wraps up with this issue. To be honest, any other era would have felt a bit out of place if Vector would have ended, but with Legacy, the outcome is a lot better.
As I said earlier, big changes are in store for Legacy after the outcome of Vector. The ending was the biggest shock (no pun intended) in all of Legacy so far.
Jan Duursema goes out with this issue including doing the final cover for Vector. The cover has that haunting presence of when Cade was training as a Sith. Great action pages throughout this issue, especially with the Force lighting throughout. Out of all the artwork in Vector, the Legacy era had the best thanks to Duursema.
Cons:
Like a said with the last issue, the story just feels a bit rushed because of the Vector crossover. Also, despite the outcome of this issue, I dislike that these events took place during Vector.
Overall: While Vector had no real impact for Star Wars in general other than in the Knights of the Old Republic and Legacy, this was a great issue. Before we can see the impact this issue have for the galaxy, it's now time to check on the home world of Mon Calamari.
