It's time for another glimpse at Star Trek history from the Klingon perspective, and this month we look at the origins of one of the U.S.S. Enterprise's most famous missions! Rocked by the events of the previous issue, the Klingon High Council turns to a new tactic in their struggle against the Federation: espionage! What will one Klingon do to prove his worth to the Empire? And what most improbable creature will stand in his way?
On the Klingon homeworld of Qo'nos the leader of the house of Kahnrah meets his granddaughter again, this time on the grounds outside the house with Bat'Leth in hand the two warriors practice their skills. Still unsure on the way ahead for the empire the grandfather tells his granddaughter the story of their cousin Gralmek and the Klingons experience with the practice of espionage.
Detailing how Gralmek, who was born short and small for a Klingon was to week for combat but volunteered to undergo a painful medical transformation to make him look human. Trained in the ways of humans, he killed and assumed the identity of Starfleet Assistant Administrator Arne Darvin in order to infiltrate Deep Space Station K7 and poison a shipment of Quadrotriticale grain bound for the disputed Sherman's Planet.
This issue recounts the events leading up to the Star Trek episode The Trouble with Tribbles and the results from a Klingon point of view.
