Was privileged enough to see the midnight screening of Into Darkness last night, and have to say I was impressed with Into Darkness and liked it overall and a good sequel to 2009. You get to see the Klingons and their homeworld in this, which leads me to believe they're being set up as the villains in the next film by the end. Cumberbach is solid as the villain John Harrison. There was quite the role reversal in this movie, echoing another classic ST movie, albeit, in reverse. All in all, if you liked the last one, you'll love this one, had action, humour, sadness and yes, even death! Was sorry to see Admiral Pike die, but was even more surprised when Kirk died! I think this movie has more than enough to enjoy irrespective if your are a star trek fan or not. I give it a 4/5.
