If you read my last review you know how I feel about making characters just dumb enough to make the plot work.  This is corrected a little in this issue.  Kira was made to look stupid in the last issue but at least Bashir asks the obvious questions.  Even Quark is getting answers.

There is a lot of lime from the last issue to this one and it seems little is done.  The time lapse is due to Miles being brought back all the way from Earth to stand trial.  The previously unheard of Tiris Jast is the commmander who is determined to prosecute and makes no friends in the process.

The issue was alright.  Nothing is particularly noteworthy.  I give the book the middle of the road rating of two and a half stars.  I recommend it to Deep Space Nine fans who have few things to read about the characters after the series ended but other than that you can pass.
