    The USS Enterprise arrives at a colony, only to find all the adult colonists dead of apparent suicide. They take the five surviving children, who seem unaffected by their parents' death, aboard the ship to transport them to the nearest Starbase. En route, however, strange things begin to happen to the crew.

    All the worst episodes of 'Star Trek' feature either children as the antagonists ("Charlie X", "Miri", etc.), or godlike supernatural beings as antagonists ("Catspaw", "Who Mourns for Adonais?", etc.), this episode features both, so you know you're in for it.Where to begin?
