    Origin

Star-Blossom was created by Gail Simone and Colleen Doran. She made her debut in Wonder Woman Wonder Woman 75th Anniversary Special. in issues 750. Although she only appeared in 10 pages she made an impact on Comic Book fans everywhere. Little is known about Star-Blossom origin. One day she assisted Wonder Woman in putting out a fire and later invited her to have dinner with her and her parents.

    Creation

According to Gail and Collen when they created Peony their only goal was to make her as happy, They explain, "We had only one goal when we created her: to make a happy, positive, fun girl hero who had a great attachment to Wonder Woman" (1). She is one of the few character in the comic who do not have a secret identity.

    Skills and Abilities

Star-Blossom seems to be connected to the green as she seems to be able to control plants. Only a few characters who are chosen as the Green's champions have that ability. The Green is the sentient force that is responsible for protecting plants. Peony is very efficient in using her powers as she can be seen fighting Gorilla Grodd and putting out fires.
