    I have the opportunity to meet with Stan at a vip reception of 100 people for $170. is this to much.

    It's a lot but for the chance to meet him if your a fan is very hard to turn down, I'd go for it.

    yeah, I've always thought it would be kind of an awkward moment meeting a creator that way... mainly cause I would - very poorly - try to say or ask something relevant or that he hasn't heard before.
     
    But, you could maybe borrow the money, bring something for him to sign, then auction it on ebay, and hopefully get enough to pay back

    but he doesnt exactly come to ireland so i doubt id get the chance 
    unless i pay alot(plane tickets etc..)
