In 15 years, without Stan Lee...

We all know that the value of books varies depending on several things, among others the death of an important author/contributor. Without wishing to be a prophet of doom, what impact will have the departure of Stan Lee (as late as possible I hope) in your opinion?

Ha. Stan Lee. THE Stan Lee. Dying? You talk as if that's even possible.

...I have a mind to find everyone who dares suggest Stan Lee is a measly mortal and kicking them in the shin.

@Mutant X: Kirby died its only a matter of time before God completes the set so they can both sign his copy of the first issue of Fantastic 4

We don't have to worry because the world will cease to exist the day he dies...

I'll dread the day he dies because of all the people who know absolutely nothing about him pretending to have read comics and care and act out how big a loss it is to them. Also the 15million threads that will fill every forum on the internet about how great he was.

Don't worry, nobody permanently dies in comic books.

I guess that's the apocalyptic-thingie the maya were refering to. :/

More seriously, I'll be pretty sad... and devasted.. The man's been a real inspiration to all, fans and authors. It will be a sad day :(
At least his work will live on forever!

I wish to meet him someday! Somehow,,

He better, like, live forever. How else is the Human Race going to survive? We'll devolve into monkeys!

Stan Lee can't die. He'll just retcon himself to be younger.
