    I'm thinking about picking this book up online if I can, and was wondering if anybody else had read it and can recommend it? It's a few years old now but I just want to read about the great man!

    If you're a big fan of marvel or their more classic characters, or if you want to learn more about the history of Marvel Comics, then you should get this book.   
    I bought it and read it back when it first came out and found it to be interesting, informative and eary to read.   
    I paid full price and felt it was worth it.  If you can pick it up cheap on Amazon; do it.  It's worthwhile.

    Just finished reading this and it was an absolute delight! Very funny at points and you get a real feeling that you know Stan, which is no surprise as he is a fantastic writer. Thanks for the push to go and buy it PowerHerc! A great read.
