    British publisher of licensed annuals

    Short summary describing this company.

No recent wiki edits to this page.

Stafford Pemberton Publishing was one of several British companies, alongside World Distributors, Dean Atlas, Brown Watson, Grandreams and Purnell, who competed for the market of TV and cartoon tie-in annuals during the 1970s and 1980s, sometimes gaining and other times losing licenses from one another, so that the company publishing the annual for a given show might change from one year to the next. Stafford Pemberton's releases included annuals for Magnum PI, Charlie's Angels, The Professionals, Metal Mickey, ABBA, Danger Mouse, Ivor the Engine, Happy Days, Star Maidens, Starsky and Hutch, The Six Million Dollar Man, Crackerjack, Rainbow and Return of the Saint.
